500k seems like a very minimal amount, good clans const often even 1 or 2 mil, I usually recommend 8+ mil this is not the only way and not the best by a long shot, taking the rebel town is probably a better way, as you don't start in a war mode with a faction, duh if possible you want to take couple of towns in the same area that rebel, usually this is possible in a hotpot between Omor.
